About Tracy

At a very young age, I was drawn to brands and brand experiences; and it all started with a mouse and his goofy dog.

‘Mommy, look at Mickey Mouse. I must go to Disneyland and be with him.’

The entire notion of Mickey Mouse, his friends and Disney was so magical to me. Little did I know what was happening to me from a marketing and brand experience perspective. At that age, I didn't know what marketing or branding meant. As I got older, my love for brand experiences grew and grew. At the same time and by picking up little nuggets of wisdom here and there, my understanding of the power of marketing and brand experiences came more into focus. Especially when I found….Apple. Yes. Apple. Thank you, Steve Jobs. Thank you for leaving me drooling and starry eyed like a teen aged girl with a crush on the latest heart throb every time you launched a wondrously amazing product I don’t need but mysteriously must have.

With years of business school lectures seared into my mind and the war wounds of years creating marketing campaigns and new products for big corporations, I know very well why I walk like a zombie to the Apple store, with credit card in hand after every Keynote event.

It’s not because I need a new phone nor want a new phone. It’s because Apple has created an amazing brand experience to which I’m loyal and willing to evangelize to anyone who will listen. The sound of Jony Ive’s voice saying AL-LOOH-MEN-IUM or any U2 song sends me into a meditative trance. Some may call it marketing Jedi-mind trickery. I call it brilliance. THAT’s what I love about branding and why I have dedicated my career to mastering the art of creating brands that consumers love.

My passion is the brand experience and cracking the code on brand experiences that connect the right products or services with the right consumers to delight them and make them loyal.
